I love you, Friday.

I’m so very very happy that it’s Friday.  The weekend ahead is looking like a mostly quiet, relaxing one – just my nephew Caden’s 7th birthday party thrown in there tomorrow night.

(7?!?!  WHAT!??!)

I’m so looking forward to doing pretty much nothing this weekend, as next weekend is already jam-packed with birthday parties, Car Rally, and Neve’s baptism!

But before we can kick off this quiet, relaxing weekend, it’s time to confess…

Linking up with Aubrey at High-Heeled Love while Mamarazzi is on break!

I confess… that I think my Zumba instructor thought I was going to explode last night.  I was really into it, dancing around like a maniac, which means I turned very red and sweaty, and probably looked to be on the verge of a heart attack..  Pretty sure she thought I was going to die.

I confess… that I wanted more Damon on the season premiere of The Vampire Diaries last night.  It was kind of more of a Stefan show.  I was a little disappointed.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

I confess… that I did not get to watch Lost at all last night, and it kind of made me feel like I was missing part of my body or something.  Tonight, it’s just going to be me and Jack and Sawyer, allll night long.

I confess… that the box of clothes from Old Navy finally arrived yesterday, and the skinny jeans were an EPIC FAIL.  As I feared, I looked like a sausage.  And I had a massive spare tire.  And no amount of boots or long shirts were going to make me look any better.  *sigh*

I confess… that I saw the preview for Paranormal Activity 4 last night, and I have no idea why, but watching those audiences jumping and screaming in the commercial really makes me want to go see it.  I’m a sucker for punishment, I guess.  (who wants to come with me???)

I confess… that I had a dream about Adam Levine last night.  But it wasn’t a good dream, like you’d think.  He just kept drifting in and out of it, and it’s all kind of fuzzy, but I know he was being mean to me.  So sad.  Don’t be mean to me, Adam.

I confess… that I posted a quote on Facebook yesterday that I saw on Raven’s blog, which really resonated with me: “Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.”  - Kahlil Gibran.  There were six women who liked or commented on my status, and I sat back and smiled when I read their names: Amanda, Nancy, Mary-Sheila, Leslie, Krista, and Haleigh.  Six of the strongest women I know, who have all faced either terrible loss, health issues, family issues, personal issues…but are survivors who bear their scars – whether they be physical or emotional, or both - and still walk tall with their heads held high.  I’m privileged to call them my friends.  They are inspiring.

I confess… that I’m having fun teasing Lindsay about being a quarter-of-a-century old today.  Dude, trust me – it’s way better than almost 30!! ;)   Happy Birthday!! xo

Have a great weekend, gang! :)

Bah ha ha! Friggin quarter of a century! It's all down hill from here! ha ha!

FYI: Paranormal Activity 4 (or any number for that matter) will NOT be a movie you can drag me out to. Unless you want to sleep over afterwards and benefit from sleep terrors? ha ha! Slumber party?

Happy Friday!

Even for skinny people, I think skinny jeans are a bad idea. but that's just me!

I tried Zumba a week ago, and COULD NOT get into it. I am such a white girl when it comes to anything requiring rhythm. So not for me! Glad you enjoy it! Have a great weekend.

Heck she's further along at 25 than I was :). And you can see that movie by yourself... anyway I wouldn't go :) Yup, I'm that mean.

I got Zumba dvds for my birthday last year. I guess I should try them sometime.

Being almost 30 isn't that bad. I've been hanging out at 29 for 3 years now. =)

Thanks for linking up. Have a fabulous weekend.

I plan on getting Zumba for the Wii--my sense of rhythm is not great, but it's the moving that counts.

Lost is such an addictive show! I made my husband start watching it with me a few months ago and we couldn't stop until it was over. Have a great weekend! (Also, hello, I'm a new follower :) )

That's such a fantastic quote from a writer I respect. I had a reading from him at mine and Reg's wedding. No way would I go to that movie. No way should you either, ha, ha. Give Caden a birthday hug from me.

I'm so very annoyed that the newly badass Elena didn't pick Damon. He's soooo much cooler than Stefan the dweeb.
