Stay Tuned

Okay, so my ol' buddy Wilbur (or Wilburgh or Webber or whatever other names you guys would like to call him) emailed me back, very apologetic about the omission of the Murder Mystery story from this week's edition of the Equity. He contacted the editor, and she claims it was an accidental editing error. I guess those things happen, so I won't hold it against them.

Stay tuned...The story will appear in next week's Equity!

So last night I had a pleasant surprise. Upon returning home from work, I noticed there were two extra places set at the table for supper. As it turns out, my Aunt Linda is home for the week from Oakville, so she and my grandmother joined us for dinner. We had a great visit, and Mom and Aunt Linda got into all their spooky little ghost stories that they like to tell. I love sitting around when my mom and my aunts start going over all the little "spiritual encounters" they've had or heard of over the years.

After that, I watched One Tree Hill, and it was an awesome episode. I know that none of you watch it, so I won't bore you with the details, but have I ever told you guys how much I love Chad Michael Murray? The dude is smokin' hot. I really wish there were some Chad Michael Murray's around here.

Anyways, not much else to report on at this point! The Sens are playing Florida tonight (and Sharon, you'll be happy to hear that Ray will be in nets) - and I also have Survivor and Grey's Anatomy on for tonight's schedule. I've already dropped the O.C. from my TV line-up. It's too hard to watch three shows in one night, and I kind of lost interest during the episode when Summer was having her identity crisis.

I hope you all have a jim-dandy day!

Jill - the mystery regarding the Equity still remains a mystery in my books. We did groceries lastnight then went out for supper with Ricky's sister and Katie and finally getting home a little after 7, we go to the mail to find NO EQUITY (we're subscribers). Ricky doesn't read it online for the reason that we get it sent to us but there was no Equity. We thought maybe there was a publishing issue - it was posted online but maybe with the missing story, they never got the equity out - apparently that is not the case I guess. Hmmm....
Anyways - lastnight was Top Model - and the other twin got the boot - my poor Caridee had a little attack of hypothermia while doing a photo shoot in a pool with freezing cold water - i really thought it was going to be down to Eugena and the twin, but it was Caridee - i knew they wouldnt let her go cuz she of the pool incident. Anyways thats the recap - next week is the Finale and i think it will be between Melrose and Caridee - who wins...i would like to see Caridee because Melrose is a fake - even the judges said it lastnight....so we'll wait for that!!
Tomorrow it sounds like we're getting a winter storm. Jill - I'll let you know tonight what are plans are for the movie idea - what we're doing and stuff, if you want to drive to the city if we indeed do get the 5-10cm that thye are calling for, mixed with rain and ice pellets and freezing rain...maybe this is the start of winter finally...haha not really because i believe after this - its straight rain! Blah!
Anyways check in with ya's later

Well I heard that Ray was going to be in nets tonight. So I am quite happy. And Jill, the OC plays at 6:00 on one of the eastern stations... or even at 7:00... No reason for you to miss it, Taylor Townsend is going after Ryan now... eeek!

Last night I watched Top Model! First the girls had to learn this dance... Eugena did the best and won the challenge.

Then for their photoshoot they had to float in a cold pool with extensions in their hair. Melrose and Eugena were paird up and CariDee and Amanda were the other pair. Caridee started to get Hypothermia so she had to leave the pool and Amanda did some shots by herself.

Amanda ended up leaving this week because she cannot soften her arms and legs and she just looks too awkward.

Next week is the finale but I am going to miss it because that's the night of the cookie exchange. So I have begged Wayne to tape it for me because I have invested so much time in getting to know the girls and watching them and picking my favourite.

GO Melrose GO!

I am sure it will be down to her and Caridee at the end.

And for tonight I will watch the OC and Survivor and flip back and forth to the SENS game.

Whoa mega TV night.

Has anyone heard of the frightful weather we will be getting tomorrow... maybe someone will led me a horse drawn sleigh to get to work, Black Betty doesn't have her snow shoes installed or even purchased yet, so you might see me in the ditch somewhere. EEEKK!

Jill, I pass 2 mountain view trucks this morning on the 4 lanes, they were slowing me up majorly!

PK's adventures in Yarm - Night #4 -The cat runs away. Well he didn't actually run away, he just didn't come back. The stupid rig made me worry over him. Of course it didn't help that it was warm outside, he likes to ramble when it's warm. Mark said it's normal for him to stay out all night sometimes, but just the same, I couldn't sleep because I was so worried over him, like what if he went on the highway and got hit by a car. Then I would feel really bad. So I made Chad get up in the middle of the night to see if he was waiting by the door. He wasn't there, so Chad opened the door and called him, but he still didn't come. He was almost going to come back upstairs, but thought he should look one more time. Thank God the cat was there and he came in and I was able to sleep the rest of the night. Just with this experience I know for sure that I do not want to have any pets. I think it would almost be easier to look after kids sometimes than have a zoo like Mark and Melissa's. Mark called again last night. They went deep sea fishing yesterday. He said he was only on the boat for 10 minutes and he was puking from being sea sick. And the boat ride was 4 hours. So he didn't enjoy it too much. Andy caught a small shark, Shannon caught a barracuda and his dad caught some kind of pink fish called a red snapper or something. Mark was the only sick one until they were on their way back and Shamus puked. He said it's been raining at night and sunny and hot during the daytime.

well that pisses me off then that i never got the equity...sharon, you and i must have been writing this morning at the same time and couldn't see each other's messages because we pretty much said the same thing...lol
i really hope the weather isnt that bad, i really wanted to go to Carlingwood tomorrow afternoon just to go and get a few things for Christmas...but if the weather is bad, it scares me - i dont mind winter driving, just the first snowfall, and we dont have winter tires on either, we have all season this year...so we'll see how goes the battle this winter. I'm glad i'll be missing most of the winter though being off with the baby. Speaking of which, i put in my request and my official last day of work is January 19th, 2007 - which leaves me a week at home before the baby comes - unless something happens between now and then (hopefully not) i'm going to stay at work till then!

hi
I think the whole Webber thing is great- he didn't talk to you Jill but I bet he has a whole photo album of pictures of you.
I'm in for carolling Stacy.
No movies for me and graham tomorrow night- he's sick now too, and he might be working a couple of Saturdays in December so this is this only week-end he will be coming home on a friday night for awhile. I guess we'll save movies for the friday nights we have to be in the city!
I'm excited for the chance of snow- maybe there'll be snow Saturday night for the parade in Shawville!
Have a good one!

What up, dudes!
Stacy: Guess the movie plans will depend on the weather, eh? Let me know whatever you guys decide to do! If the weather isn't too bad to drive in, I'm in!
I'm excited for snow, too! I'm excited for this weekend in general...I think I'm really going to get in the Xmas spirit.
PK: Glad to hear the cat came back!
I don't think I ever want to have pets either. But I always swore when I was a kid and I wasn't allowed to have pets that my kids could have any animal they wanted. I might have to re-think that...
Sara: Well that sucks that Graham's sick now too! Somehow I've been avoiding this cold/flu stuff. Everyone at work and at home have had it practically, but not me. Knock on wood!

Sara - well tell Graham to get better, maybe Ricky and I will go and watch him play hockey Sunday if they are playing.
Jill - the plans will depend on the weather on your end anyways, we'll be in the city anyways unless Ricky just wants to go home...like i said, i'll call ya. I've been in the Christmas mood for like ever - don't know why its so different this year. As for the cold/flu bug, me too i have passed on it - everyone around me is sick but i havent had much - knock on wood - however yesterday i felt like i might have been coming down with it, sore throat and during lunch, i got really dizzy then after lunch, i puked, but that could be pregnancy too - who knows!!!

Well girls about the movie if the weather is too bad we can go saturday day, night it doesn't matter..... Oh and have a good day miss wilburgh lol......

I'm getting this Wilburgh crap from all directions today. Lynn had sent me the link to look at the photos, so I forwarded it on to the rest of the cast whose email addys I have, and all day long, I've been getting teased by Kenny & Mark & Tracy & Erin about how many pictures there are of me. Mark even went and COUNTED how many pictures there are of me! I swear, it doesn't mean anything!!! LOL...

As for the movies - we'll wait and see on the weather by tomorrow night! Saturday I'm going shopping & to Grandma's tea, and I'm still not sure about the evening - Erin & I were talking about going up to see Foundation play (if anyone wants to come with, let me know!)

Foundation is playing Saturday night at Atko's? I thought they only played on Friday nights, there must be a stag or party?
It's the snowmobile kick off party at Gavans i believe Saturday night too...we can always go and see the movie during the week sometime - like wednesday when Sara is down at Graham's - anyways - we'll discuss later!

Hi
PK- when our gang went deep sea fishing alot of them puked and the water was so rough that the back of the boat broke and they had to come back. Apparently the guy said afterwards that they shouln't have even went out that day!
I think my flu bug is gone. Didn't really last long at all, Susie is really sick, way worse than me...lots of throwing up. So I am so glad I just got a little bit of it. Next week the only night I'm free is thursday and friday night- I have parent-teacher interviews after work monday, tuesday and wednesday. Busy busy. And thursday I'm supposed to go out for supper with my girl guide "friends" for xmas supper at cafe 349, but I really don't feel like it. So don't make plans around me cause I'm hopeless. I feel like every second of my day is plannned out to a "T".
I'm off to Renfrew now with my family for our "Beer Family movie Night" lol.
Have a great night everyone...careful driving to work tomorrow if we have bad weather!
