Mission: Accomplished

Sorry that it's taken me so long to get the Blog up this morning, guys! It's been a hectic morning, trying to get caught up on my emails and actually trying to do some work.

And to be very honest, I have no idea what to write about today.

Last night, Ricky recommended I write about what a great guy he is or something like that. But then I thought, That's not fair. What about all the other great people who read the Blog? So, my apologies, Ricky, but I just can't write a Blog about you. (But you did get your very own special shout-out, so you're special!!)

Then I thought I'd do a list of my favourite Christmas movies/specials, in keeping with the holiday season, but I really don't have the time this morning to devote to that kind of Blog. It will be coming up someday soon, though, so that's something for all of you wonderful Bloggers to look forward to!

So I guess I'll quickly tell you about my satisfying day of Christmas Shopping yesterday. We started off by hitting Bayshore, and we had lunch at Moxie's, which is the restaurant in the mall if you prefer to skip the craziness of the food court. (That was definitely the highlight of my day. I love that restaurant. If you're there in the next few weeks, you should try the Turkey & Bacon Ciabatta off their holiday menu - simply to die for!) Then we zoomed around Bayshore some more, and I got my glasses fixed for free (nice bonus!)

Around 2 PM, we departed for Michael's, and after a half-hour there, we headed back into Hull for a whirlwind trip around Wal-Mart and Rona. By the end of the day, I had absolutely all of my shopping completed, with the exception of one gift for Mom that I couldn't pick up with her in tow, and another item that isn't available until the week before Christmas. So I'll likely have to make one more shopping trip before the "Big Day", but for the most part, I'm ready to wrap!!

'Tis the Season to be Jolly...Fa la la la la la la la la...

Well Jill! I am proud of you for getting such a jump on all your shopping and completing it. I hate when release dates constrain your Christmas Shopping. If it wasn't for my release date I would have been done a long time ago, but no, I had to wait until November 25.

I was at Bayshore yesterday evening as well spending some time just wandering and looking around before my AquaFit class started. I think I am going to try the Turbo classes on Tuesdays... Tuesday seems to be a good day to go with the exception of this week. Other than that nothing is ever going on. I picked upa sweater vest for Linda that she had seen in Rideau but they didn't have her size but low and behold the Bayshore location had it. So I swiped it up and hopefully it fits... if not I will have to go back.

The following weeks will be quite slow due to the holiday season upon us, however after Christmas we will be running around like chickens with our heads cut off.

I already have 4 dinners in a row for Christmas. Hobbs House, Prior House, Rendle House, our House... mmm it's going to be a yummy 4 days, I will have to pace myself.

Today I am going to run over to Loblaws, Wayne needs some Raisin Bran and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest is on sale for $19.99 so I will pick that up before it shoots up to 30$ like the rest of the movies. And next tuesday is the Devil Wears Prada!!!! Whoop Whooop!

I was starting to wonder where the blog for today was. So sounds like you had a good shopping day.I am jealous of you- I started way before but I'm still not really done. I am finished my class, my Sparks, my junior leader but not my 16 plus student. So that takes care of the "kids". I just have to do some with Graham now for his family.
Nice try Ricky, trying to have a blog just for you!

Hello gang!
Sharon: You got me all excited for food over the holidays by talking about your 4 dinners! Just got the email yesterday from Patti to tell us Xmas Eve will once again be at her place, so I'm excited to eat all of those fun snacks too! Not to mention, I get to eat chips for a whole week...YAY!!
Sara: If I had to buy for as many people as you do, I'd probably never get done. That must be so stressful! I was just thinking the other day that it's one perk of not having a boyfriend - no gifts to buy for him or his family!! LOL (Although, I don't think I'd mind...)
Ricky: As I already said, I'm in for the trip. But I don't have any swimming thongs, and I sure as hell won't be going topless. Let's hope Maydson is a good little girl so that we can go!! hahaha

Ricky and I have turned our "baby fund" into our trip fund so yea unless something comes up - its booked - 2 yrs going to....???
Here are some prices right now - so give or take a little more expensive or cheaper come 2 yrs and we have to book early and get a better discount:
Cuba, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Mexico.....

So whoever wants to come - more the merrier!!!

Oh wow...This is so surreal! Actually TALKING about going down South! SWEET!!

Don't know much about it, but from everything I've heard, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic is the place to go. But I'll go ANYWHERE!!

I would for sure go to Dominican again- this is great. I can't believe everyone is serious!!! I better save some cash. Not into thongs and going topless though...yuck.
