A few weeks ago, my friend Lindsay asked me to do a guest post for her while she was away on her honeymoon. At the time, I was envious that she was jetting off to a warmer climate, to sit on the beach as a newlywed, sipping boozey tropical concoctions and immersing herself in the Fifty Shades trilogy.
To placate myself, I tried to zone out into my own summer paradise of ball fields, boats, bonfires, and beaches. And thus, I came up with my 2012 Summer Playlist, which I, in turn, used to create my guest post for Linds!
Now, with summer fully upon us, I decided to share that playlist with my bloggy pals, especially since I’ve already been tweaking it! You can find the original here.

On my summer playlist--lots of your picks.
80 rock and roll always says summer to me--Def Leppard, Metallica and that sort of music. I also like lot of recent country. I can't hear Redneck Yacht Club without seeing summer camping trips in my head. We don't have water, but we play on four wheelers and have a great time.
Great list! I've already downloaded a couple songs to my iphone!! Thanks! :-)
i have an ipod...or at least i think its something similar...it's thin and purple...anyhoo - maybe i can give it to you to put songs on for me cuz i dont download songs no more and when I did, i had no idea how to work it
We could totally road trip together--I wouldn't have to skip any of your songs! Great list.
Wow I feel really uncool. I'm not sure if I've heard 3/4 of the songs!
I need to get to downloading those songs. I never used to like the Bieb, but I like Boyfriend. It's catchy!
Such great songs!!
I just downloaded....Everybody Talks by Neon Trees. Love it!
