Friiiiiiiiday!!!!

It’s another hot & sticky one out there today, kids!  Storms are to be moving in later on today, and then we’re to get a bit of a break from the humidity for a few days.  But it sounds like the sun’s going to be sticking around for a while, so I’m down.

Let’s get it going here with a few Friday Confessions…

Friday confessional high heeled love

Linking up with Aubrey @ High-Heeled Love!

I confess… that after spending the evening with one of my fave monkeys Neve last night, and then getting my baby snuggles in with Everett this morning, allll I can think about is how badly I want a baby.  Like… now.

Jill & Everett

I confess… that hearing the Glee version of Don’t Stop Believin’ on the radio this morning, with Cory Montieth and Lea Michelle in the vocal leads, I totally got goosebumps.  So bittersweet.   So sad.

I confess… I don’t think I’ve followed news of a celebrity death this closely since Heath Ledger’s.  Strange, I know, since I hadn’t really watched Glee for a year or so, and even when I did, I was more of a Puck fan than a Finn fan.  For some reason, though, I’m scanning People.com steady for new stories.

finn and puck

I confess… that I’m also trolling People.com and Twitter for any kind of news on the Royal Baby.  When will Kate finally POP?  Will it be a boy or a girl?  What shall they name the little heir to the throne?  I simply can’t wait to find out!

Royal Baby

I confess… that as I wrote that last part, I was totally saying it in my head in a British accent.

I confess… that it’s been a while since I’ve broken out the British accent.  I spoke that way for quite a while around the time Wills & Kate got married, so I suppose it’s only fitting that I bring it back for the new baby!

I confess… that one week from today, I’ll be joining my Mountainview compadres for our annual company golf tournament.  And that is my offical kick-off to my 30th birthday weekend AND my holidays.  Fair to say that I’m sooooo looking forward to next Friday!

I confess… that I’m yet again so excited for a sorta-quiet weekend.  I have a wedding reception to attend tomorrow night, but otherwise, I’m footloose & fancy free.  I’m planning on spending some SERIOUS time with my book.

I confess… I expected to whirl through my current literary selection – City of Bones, the fist book in The Mortal Instruments series, by Cassandra Clare.  It came recommended by my friend Lindsay.  I have to say, though, that I’m not really loving it as much as I thought I would.  It feels like it’s been forever since I read a book that I REALLY loved… but maybe I just need to give this one more of a chance.

I confess… that I think tonight is going to warrant a trip to the store for a banana-flavoured popsicle and a movie rental.  What should I be renting, folks?  Last weekend, I picked up Identity Thief, and I was disappointed.  What current releases are worth viewing??

Alrighty… Nothing really juicy for this week, but that’s all I’ve got!  Happy Friday and hope you all have a fabulous weekend! :)

The Call is good but not when you are alone I dont think is a good idea - its similar to a Criminal Minds episode I think...

Maddy and I cuddled last weekend and watched Parental Guidance, it was okay!

oz great and powerful is pretty good (I personally saw it as the perfect excuse to stare at the beautiful James Franco for two hours), safe haven is pretty good too. Also if you like dystopian future books try The Selection by Kiera Cass I flew through that one its so good

No movie recommendations here. We are waiting for the summer movies to hit DVD this fall. RED 2, RIPD and the superhero movies will be on the slate. With guys in the house, that's my choices.

Omg.. I'm totally obsessed with Kate's baby and what they'll have and what name they'll choose. I'm saying a girl and her name will be either Diana Elizabeth blah, blah, blah forever long name or Elizabeth Diana blah, blah, blah forever long name. :)

The Cory Monteith story is tearing me up....because it's exactly what we went through with my brother in law last week. It's like watching a movie of your life....

That is so awful what happened to Cory- I hardly ever watched Glee but always so tragic when something like that happens.

Yes, girl, Identity Thief was horrible...and I so wanted to like it because I love Melissa McCarthy.

I finally finished Prison Break about a month or so ago. Totally did not end like I thought it would. :) I gotta admit that I am kinda having the Wentworth Miller withdrawels. I used to so look forward to going home each night and sneaking in a few episodes. I'm not watching anything right now.
