WWTKW: Blogging Tips, Books, and My Toothbrush.

It’s that time of week again!  We Want to Know Wednesday!!  Hosted by Mamarazzi and Crazymama.

008TSD_Katherine_Heigl_063

Here are this week’s questions:

{1} What are your Top 3 blogging tips for other bloggers?

{2} What book have you read lately that you would recommend?
{3} What is a physical feature you have been complimented on?
{4} What color is your toothbrush?
{5} What question would you like to add to a future WWTK?

My answers:

{1} What are your Top 3 blogging tips for other bloggers?

1 – Write about what you want and don’t worry about what everyone else is doing.  Your blog is a reflection of who you are, and you’ll always have it to look back on.  Make sure you care about what you’re leaving behind.

2 – Enable your email!  One of my favourite parts about blogging is responding to comments and getting to know my fellow bloggers.  If I can’t write back to you, it gives me the sads.  (Don’t know how to enable your email? It’s easy!  Go to your DASHBOARD, Click EDIT PROFILE, Check off SHOW MY EMAIL ADDRESS, and SAVE!  Just like that!)

3 – Don’t stress about it.  I tend to do that too often – ohmygosh, I don’t have time to check out all the blogs I want to, I don’t have time to comment on every blog that I come across… Just breeeathe…We’re all busy people, and not everybody has the luxury of being a full-time blogger.  Just do want you can and what works for you!

{2} What book have you read lately that you would recommend?  I’ve been in a bit of a reading rut lately.  It’s been about six months since something I’ve read has really excited me.  These past few months, I’ve been floating through the Twilight series again because I haven’t been able to focus on anything, and figured I might as well read something comfy and cozy and familiar.  But the last books that had me jumping up with excitement were The Help by Kathryn Stockett (loved the book and the movie), and The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins (read all three in a two-week-long whirlwind, and can’t wait for the first movie!)

{3} What is a physical feature you have been complimented on?  Umm…my hair?  I seem to get a few comments on my hair, even when I don’t do anything to fancy it up.  People just often remark on the colour, whether I’m dark or blonde!  (Currently dark.)

{4} What color is your toothbrush?  It’s white with lime green.  A Norwex Silver Care toothbrush!  Which must be working reallllly well, because I had my best dentist appointment ever on Monday!!

{5} What question would you like to add to a future WWTK?  If you were told it was time for your last meal, what would you order up or make for yourself?  What’s your absolute favourite dish or dishes?  (I’d give bonus points for pictures and recipes! haha!)

Love the Twilight books.
You have a nice, friendly smile.
Last meal, Liver, bacon and onions with mashed potatos and asparagus.
It has to be made just right though.

Our family has different kinds of superhero toothbrushes. Mine is Superwoman, and the others have Marvel superheroes like Thor (my hubby) and Green Lantern (my son's). Well, my favorite dish is Gambas Ajillo.

"Hmm.. Hunger Games is already out in cinemas but I think I’ll read the book first before watching the movie. By the way, I'm using a soft bristled blue and white handled toothbrush."

If you go to the drug store to purchase a manual toothbrush or a replacement head for your electric toothbrush, you will be able to select a toothbrush with soft, medium, or hard nylon bristles.
