Yesterday we gathered at his resting place and we sent balloons up to him in heaven. I guess this day will never be easy, but it was nice to be surrounded by family as we took a moment to celebrate him & his life.
Bet it's going to be a rockin' party up there today!

The fact that Free Fallin was on the radio when we got in the car when leaving the graveyard was pretty cool too!

Make no mistake about it Luke, it is no accident that song was playing. He loved the balloons that is for sure. I would like to believe our loves ones send us special little messages all the time. We just have to take a moment to acknowledge them.
So true, Shelley...in the past 3 months, it's been amazing to take note of the little "messages" we've all been getting...And I'd like to think hearing Troy's song on the radio when we got back in our cars after sending the balloons up to him was his way of letting us know he was there for the party :)
